To avoid marks when you re taking down a poster use your fingernail to get right under the putty and ease it out and away from the wall so that it comes away still attached to the poster. You only need a thin film of the putty mainly along the top edge of the poster pieces 1 3 or so in 4 6 places depending on the size with other pieces along the other edges to flatten it out. Press a new piece of blu tack against the old to remove extra tack. Hang the picture on the nail i use my level. It can be used to mount posters photos and artwork to a wall.
